What is ReveCMS? - ReveCMS is an intuitive and easy to use, yet sophisticated and flexible Content Management System (CMS). Its development followed a demand-driven approach in close collaboration with our clients. Why ReveCMS? Once installed, you don't need days of training to get started. You can start adding pages and content right away. If you like the results, you’re done.
Easy and Intuitive - ReveCMS displays the 'user interface' directly on the website. Content managers can not only add content in real-time but can also change the site structure (optional). You get instant feedback; no need to switch between the admin and front end. There is no need for special HTML or other ‘technical’ knowledge. What you see is what you get.
Flexible Structure - The site structure is tree-based. You can flag pages to be part of a menu. Template tags are provided to create flexible and up to date and easy to style menus. You can move around pages or groups of pages by drag&drop. Multiple site trees are possible to support multilingualism or sub-sites.
Flexible Design and Layout - ReveCMS supports any kind of styling, templates and style sheets. It provides flexible inclusion of sub designs in any part of the web platform.
Pluggable Content - ReveCMS can display content from a range of available applications so you can expand your website to your liking; a few simple pages with text and pictures or a complex and interactive portal. All applications are easy to integrate, but can also be used stand-alone. Abundant options for tagging make your content recyclable. The option to flexibly generate RSS from content keeps your audience up to date with all they are interested in. Available applications include e.g. news, events, tagging, blogs, news list, event list, pipes and feedmaker.
Integrate External Content - With ReveCMS you can include feeds from your network (or others) and filter and deliver the content according to your users needs. It is also easy to include content from other Web2.0 applications like Picasa, Youtube, Google Maps, Slideshare, Wordpress and more.
Custom Functionality - Thanks to a well defined Application Programming Interface (API), programming and implementing additional functionality is easy. Co-Capacity has effectively implemented custom applications like social networking tools (personal profiles) to resource libraries (photo, audio, video, DLIO), an organisation directory and map (GIS) functionalities.
Visibility - Using ReveCMS for your site gives your site at least as much visibility as any other main stream CMS. Co-Capacity advises on simple techniques for improved ranking by implementing e.g. Google analytics for your web stats and submitting your site map to search engines.

Distributed Content Management - Through ReveCMS, access to any page or section can be granted or denied to any user or content manager. This facilitates true distributed content management. Access can be set with a few clicks, so anyone you want to, can quickly start posting to blogs, add photo’s or edit events.
Open source - ReveCMS is open source software (BSD-licensed), based on the Django web-framework. It allows you to freely use the CMS, edit the code and add applications. Therefore, the range of possibilities with ReveCMS is expanding and improving.
Updating - Your website can easily be updated to the next versions of the ReveCMS, without losing any of your private settings and additional (self-built) applications. This guarantees a long lifespan of your website.
Support - Co-Capacity offers technical support in building and designing websites, as well as non-technical support in content generation and day-to-day website management.
Develop applications yourself? - Developing and adding pluggable applications is easy, provided you know a little python.
